Sarah is a business and communications professional with experience in private wealth management, urban planning, organizational leadership, and event management. She currently serves as an intern at Emergent Method, where she supports the firm’s consultants and clients across a variety of
disciplines such as strategic planning, research, and data analysis.
Prior joining Emergent Method, Sarah worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a seasonal client associate for a private banking and investment group in Houston, Texas. In this role, she studied industry and global trends and how they affected clients’ risk aversion and subsequent asset allocation. She frequently met with clients and prospects to better understand their businesses and unique environments. Additionally, Sarah previously interned with the Center for Planning Excellence in Baton Rouge. At CPEX, she developed and reviewed plans to improve local infrastructure and worked to promote community engagement.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Sarah is pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, she has represented the university as a student ambassador for prospective students and currently holds an administrative position in her sorority. She also serves as a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. In addition to her involvement on campus, Sarah has spent time serving the Baton Rouge community as a fundraiser and volunteer for the Baton Rouge Symphony League and the Louisiana Youth Orchestra, and has also served as a tutor for middle school students at THRIVE Charter Boarding School.
