JOB DESCRIPTION
Emergent Talent, a division of Emergent Method, is seeking a qualified candidate to lead the continued transition from the utilization of the Waterfall methodology to the Agile methodology on a series of large-scale system development projects. We are looking for a proven Agile Coach to support and lead this process. This is full-time position on an ongoing project, tentatively scheduled for completion in July 2021 (with potential of extension).
This individual must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and adept at working with multiple teams. The workforce involves both onsite and offsite staff including offshore team members.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Guide sprint teams through coaching and mentoring, and teach team members Agile values, principles, and practices that will make them as efficient and effective as possible
- Coordinate delivery of Agile-based activities, and lead the team to implement program increments and releases
- Act as a change agent for the team in the area of Agile best practices and transformation
- Use strong communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and additional skills quickly
