JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic talent acquisition specialist to join our team, supporting the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of positions. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, hiring, and onboarding candidates through collaboration with hiring managers and administrative team members.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling subsequent interviews, recommending final selection of applicants, extending offers, and onboarding employees
- Manage the creation, editing, and posting of job descriptions on various job boards
- Partner with leaders, hiring managers, and the administrative team to develop and enhance recruiting strategies and processes
- Utilize the internal applicant tracking system to properly assess and categorize candidates for existing and future opportunities
- Develop and maintain networking and professional relationships with key stakeholders to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Maintain relationships with local colleges and universities by assisting and participating in career fair activities, including registration, preparation, attendance, and follow-up at career fairs
- Assist in special projects and perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in human resources and high-volume recruiting
- A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field
- Direct experience interviewing and assessing candidates, with an understanding of recruitment principles, laws and procedures
- HR Generalist experience considered a plus
- Excellent customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with candidates and employees at all levels throughout the company
- Ability to multitask and support multiple projects with competing priorities
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Strong writing skills and ability to effectively communicate both written and orally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
