An experienced designer, web developer, and communication professional, Mollie serves in a variety of roles at Emergent Method applying her knowledge and experience in the creative and tech industries to solve complex problems and provide strategic advantage for our clients. Her areas of expertise include leading the creative design and development of websites, writing content for client deliverables, and leveraging her knowledge of typography, color and design principles to produce print and digital design products, create brand identities from scratch, and give new life to existing ones.
Her recent experience includes establishing the Louisiana Watershed Initiative brand—the state’s effort to expend $1.2 billion in federal disaster mitigation grant funds to reduce flood risk in Louisiana using a watershed-based approach, launching the Initiative’s public-facing website, watershed.la.gov, and branding its parent agency, The Louisiana Office of Community Development. She also designed, coded, and launched the Water Institute of the Gulf’s website, thewaterinstitute.org, and maintains various other websites for a diverse group of public and private sector clients.
Prior to joining Emergent Method, Mollie spent nearly five years at a website design and public relations firm serving in a variety of roles in the public relations, graphic design, and web development specialties.
Mollie is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in public relations and minor in business administration. She also spent a semester abroad in Italy at the Università degli Studi di Urbino where she studied Italian language and art.
