Alyssa Panepinto

Senior Consultant

Alyssa Panepinto is a communication professional with expertise in creating content and translating it across mediums to develop comprehensive, tactical campaigns. She has a background in social media content development and management, speech writing, copy editing, and media relations. In her role at Emergent Method, Alyssa supports a wide range of client work related to strategic communication, including content development, crisis communication, marketing, and social media management. 

Prior to joining Emergent Method, Alyssa worked as a communications specialist for the Office of the Mayor-President of the City of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish. During her time in the mayor’s office, Alyssa supported all external communications on behalf of the Mayor and several city-parish departments. This included speech writing, managing all social media accounts and developing content, implementing emergency communication plans, and promoting various events throughout the community. 

Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Louisiana State University with a concentration in political communication. She also studied abroad in Iowa during the Iowa Caucus of 2020, interviewing presidential campaign staff and candidates, and in Europe, evaluating the relationship between the media, government, and public policy in European countries and the United States.
