Senior Consultant
Annie Ourso Landry is a strategic communication consultant, with expertise in content development, analysis, AP style, and copy editing, as well as media relations. In her role at Emergent Method, Annie lends her expertise to several of the firm’s clients, including large-scale statewide program implementation initiatives, leading outreach and engagement, public relations, and digital communication initiatives.
Prior to joining Emergent Method in 2019, Annie was a staff writer at the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report—an award-winning business publication—for three years. She produced magazine features and cover stories, while also reporting for Daily Report, a twice-daily e-newsletter. Annie covered a range of beats, including business news, state and local politics, executive profiles and breaking news. She previously interned and freelanced with The Advocate, as well.
A White Castle native, Annie earned her master’s degree in mass communication from the LSU Manship School, while working as a graduate research assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in political science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
