Dillon is an experienced professional with expertise in program and project management, research and analytics, and outreach and engagement. As a consultant with Emergent Method, he supports a number of disaster recovery and public outreach initiatives, where he leverages his military and business background toward the delivery of efficient and effective services to stakeholders and constituents across the U.S.
Before joining Emergent Method, Dillon served as owner of Horatius Management, LLC, where he consulted clients on large-scale program management and disaster recovery initiatives, including performance management, process and workflow re-engineering, project management, and more.
Additionally, Dillon is a decorated member of the Louisiana Army National Guard, where he currently serves as a Battalion Communications Officer and coordinates all matters concerning command, control, communications, and computer operations within the Battalion. His prior roles have included serving as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in an Expeditionary Signal Company and recently returned from a deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield where he served as the Battalion Communications Officer of an Aviation Battalion. He was involved in the response to two Presidentially-declared flood events in 2016 and has received accolades including two Army Commendation Medals and an Army Achievement Medal.
In addition to his client work and service with the National Guard, Dillon serves as the founder and chairman of Honor Flight Louisiana, a non-profit organization created with the sole purpose of honoring America’s veterans for their sacrifices by providing them an opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. and reflect at national memorials.
He holds three bachelor’s degrees from Louisiana State University in disaster science, political science, and history and a master’s degree in business administration from the E.J. Ourso School of Business – Flores MBA Program with a graduate certificate in analytics.
