Jeremy Johnson is a skilled finance and IT professional with experience in data analytics, financial analysis and forecasting, and IT consulting for large-scale projects spanning multiple sectors and industries. As a manager at Emergent Method, Jeremy leads several economic and technology-driven projects to improve system efficiencies and establish data analytics and enablement solutions. 

Before joining Emergent Method, Jeremy served as a senior financial analyst for The Shaw Group, where he created and maintained financial reporting data models, provided monthly financial forecasting for all U.S. operations, and provided analyses to the board of directors. Jeremy also served as a senior financial analyst for Gallagher, where he created and implemented a monthly forecasting model and was responsible for forecasting, tracking, and accruing revenue and expenses for six commercial insurance sales branches across the U.S. Prior to his time at Gallagher, Jeremy worked as a senior consultant for Postlethwaite & Netterville, where he served as the scrum master for a large data warehouse project and was responsible for adapting processes to improve process efficiency. 

Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Jeremy is a certified scrum master, a Baton Rouge Analytics and Intelligence Network member, and hosts a website where he writes about extracting data using power queries.
