Karron Clark Alford is an expert marketing and technology professional with over 23 years of experience in media relations and strategic planning. Her vast experience includes serving in several marketing, technology, and sales roles for public sector agencies and private sector organizations. As a Manager, Karron leads communication and marketing projects for clients across all sectors and an array of industries, leveraging her knowledge of digital systems and technology to provide innovative and strategic solutions.
Prior to joining Emergent Method, Karron served in a number of different roles during her 15-year tenure with Visit Baton Rouge, most recently as the Director of Marketing & Technology. At VBR, she managed internal and external advertising and communication strategies, Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems, and oversaw integration and implementation of all the organization’s technology systems. Her additional experience spanned multiple facets of the agency’s work, including research, destination content, and destination sales.
Prior to her time at Visit Baton Rouge, Karron held multiple marketing positions for organizations in the capital area, including serving as a business analyst at H&E Equipment Services Inc., an events coordinator for the Louisiana Art & Science Museum, and a news producer for WAFB.
Karron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication & Rhetoric from Louisiana State University.
