Senior Consultant
Kaylee Jones is a skilled communication, public policy, and federal grants expert with experience serving in integral roles supporting large-scale disaster recovery programs and initiatives. As a senior consultant, Kaylee serves our clients through her communication abilities, policy and regulatory knowledge, and process and training development expertise. She is adept at resolving program issues, understanding and applying for grants, managing complex budgets, and complying with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prior to joining Emergent Method, Kaylee served as the South Carolina Disaster Recovery Office’s planning and policy manager. In this and other roles with the agency, she created, reviewed, and edited action plans and policy and procedure manuals that governed over $450 million in Community Block Development Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Block Development Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds. She also previously served as a marketing coordinator for a local business where she spearheaded communication and social media strategies to grow the company’s online presence.
Kaylee earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Master of Arts in Sustainable Policy from the University of South Florida.
