Consultant
Kelsey Othling is a communication professional with experience in public outreach, external communication, and social media management. As a consultant at Emergent Method, she uses her technical expertise and skills to support a variety of clients’ outreach and engagement efforts, delivering comprehensive and data-driven results.
Before joining Emergent Method, Kelsey worked as a research assistant for both the LSU Coastal Meteorology Lab and the National Weather Center,where she conducted research focused on risk communication and used her programming knowledge to code and analyze statistical data. She also served as an intern for Click Here Digital,where she utilized search engine optimization and social media planning to boost clients’ digital presence.
Kelsey is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a concentration in digital advertising and a minor in geography.During her time at LSU, Kelsey served as Treasurer of the LSU Geography and Anthropology Undergraduate Society.
