Makenzie Morgan is a communication professional with experience in community engagement and outreach, content development, and media relations. As a consultant at Emergent Method, she supports a variety of clients through developing marketing and media content, supporting strategic outreach campaigns, and implementing engagement solutions. 

Prior to joining Emergent Method, Makenzie served as the Communication Specialist in the Legislative Communications Office for the Louisiana State Legislature, where she managed legislative projects; designed presentations, newsletters, surveys, and marketing collateral; facilitated press conferences and interviews; managed media contact databases; monitored social media coverage; and served as a state coordinator for the Louisiana Commission on Civic Education. She also served as an intern for both the Louisiana Division of Administration and Congressman Garret Graves. In these roles, Makenzie developed web and social media content, marketing materials, and press releases, in addition to supporting constituent outreach. 

Makenzie is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned her Master of Public Administration and her Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a concentration in public relations. She is an active member of Forum 225.
