Nikki Carr is a project management professional with over 20 years of experience in community outreach, event planning and management, strategic planning, and team building. As a senior consultant at Emergent Method, Nikki provides strategic solutions to improve organizational performance for a number of the firm’s public and private sector clients through community outreach efforts, event planning and coordination, and team building facilitation. 

Prior to joining Emergent Method, Nikki served as the events and community outreach manager at Woman’s Hospital, where she planned community-wide fundraising efforts such as BUST Breast Cancer, BUST Out, and the Woman’s Victory Open and supported the implementation of community outreach campaigns to advance the foundation’s mission. Nikki also previously served as the event director and senior staff financial budget analyst at Healing Place Church where she managed the roll out for an entirely new budget system and led the organization’s event planning and marketing efforts. 

Nikki earned her Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport and Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida. She is an alumna of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation’s 2022 Development Fellows cohort. Nikki is an active member of the Baton Rouge community; in her free time, Nikki serves on Healing Place Church’s weekend production team, the Parent Advisory Council for Basis Baton Rouge – Materra Campus, and the finance advisory committee for The Life of a Single Mom.
