Associate
Olivia Smith is an administrative professional with expertise in business operations, data entry and analysis, financial management, and customer service. As an associate, Olivia leverages her expertise to support the firm’s operational initiatives and administrative functions, including handling financial transactions, organizing data, developing new systems to improve business efficiency, and coordinating meetings and events.
Before joining Emergent Method, Olivia worked as the store manager for HerringStone’s, where she trained employees and planned events, and as the payroll coordinator for Great River Industries, where she handled onboarding documents and managed payroll services. She also worked as an intern for both the Louisiana Department of the Treasury and the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions, where she used her knowledge of accounting software to track deposits and organize confidential financial data.
Olivia is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in general business with a minor in English. During her time at LSU, she served as the treasurer of her business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and wrote for LSU’s Legacy Magazine, a publication focused on human interest stories.
