Sonya Murray-Wade
ManagerWith over 25 years of experience in grants management and customer service, Sonya Murray-Wade brings extensive knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations, grant programs and relevant policy issues to Emergent Method’s public-sector clients. As a manager, Sonya lends her expertise in areas such as grants management, client support, policy compliance, and data and document management.
Before joining the firm, Sonya served as a case manager for the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program through Emergent Talent, a division of the firm. In this role, she provided technical assistance to the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance program by monitoring applications, reviewing eligibility for awards, and ensuring compliance with governmental regulations. She has also held numerous positions within other Louisiana state agencies where she served as a project manager and administrative professional, expediting processes, identifying, and resolving team and program issues, formulating applications, and implementing processes to increase efficiency.
Sonya is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, her Master of Science in Adult Education, and her Master of Science in Business Education.
